President Kelsey Yule was inspired by the lack of professional Makeup Artistry schools throughout Canada and set out to inspire, educate, and lead individuals passionate about the Beauty Industry. Numa International Institute of Makeup and Design worked with Industry leaders to develop a curriculum which teaches students to be innovative, professional, and influential. NiiMD teaches a well rounded program with a strong emphasis towards hands on application. In order to provide our students with the very best education and training our students are exposed to the industry, allowing them to learn through realtime experiences while being guided by industry professionals.

The Calgary campus houses a state of the art production studio which allows students the unique opportunity to experience the industry first hand. Numa International Institute of Makeup and Design encourages hands on learning in a fun, supportive environment.

With four locations our students now benefit from the Network we have established throughout all of Alberta. NiiMD’s sister company Numa Models and Talent allows all students access to models all across Canada. This connection allows for national, and international opportunities for our students.
